Yeah, so about half-way through Saturday, I found out that they extended what we had started to call swine-break.
They canceled school 'till friday.

pff, but leave it up to Batavia to fuck that up.
They randomly posted something on Tuesday at 1pm saying that we had to go back to school on Wednesday.
but they posted it on their website.
TEACHERS didn't even notice it.

pah, so Wednesday was a total fail. But most of us managed to show up because the news spreading like wildfire on facebook.

Hm, IN OTHER NEWS-
A few friends and I went to the Literary Fest for our school's conference aaaaaand
I won Critic's Choice for the Dramatic Scene category for something I had written the night before the entries were due.

(I just realized that I had spelled critic as critique on facebook. OH GOD. WHY DID I WIN.)

[for those of you who don't know, that's like the EMPEROR of awards for a category. lol.]
A few other people I know won some cool awards too.

UH, HM- My school's prom is tomorrow.
tomorrow is also my birthday.

btw- if any of you want a new band to check out, I recommend Ratatat.
They're like instrumental hip-hop, but they've got some really good tracks.
So far, all of the albums I've come across are good, but if you don't like rap then don't look at their remixes.
So I guess, it's like a hip-hop beat with some wicked organ and guitar layered on top. XD;;

haha, so I'm kinda sorry for thinking this way (but not really)-
the swine flu is hillarious.

Everyone's making such a big deal about it. (yeah, sorry for all the people who have died from it so far, but there haven't been THAT many to deserve this much attention.)

Anyway, my school got closed for tomorrow- all extra curricular activities, parades (we had one planned for sunday), the local 'Open Mic' Night at the Panera-
those have all been canceled.
Things wont start back up 'till Monday.

They had actually closed the middle school today and tomorrow, since some kid had a ' probable case' (which apparently by the state health department is like a 99.9% chance of it being Swine Flu.)
Today some kid was puking his guts in the bathroom- he went home and now he's a ' probable case', although the state needs 2 days to actually get the test results back.

Now everyone else isn't allowed to 'congregate in large groups' and all that good stuff.


O lawd- I'm just glad I get a day off of school. I had like, 4 papers due for tomorrow and a project I'm no where NEAR finishing. XD;;


Hm- well that's really all that's been going on in my life right now.

so I just realized that I hadn't updated this thing at all in over a month--

I went to Washington DC on a trip for band and got to bum around the capitol[wasteland] for a few days. 13-14 hours on a bus both ways. [that was the fun part. ]

uh, I think I grew a little taller, but I don't think I've ever really informed anyone about my height.
(5'10") ... or something close to that. I don't measure myself. [HA, THAT'S AN INUENDO.] [... but I'm a chick, so I guess it doesn't count in the end.]
I lost weight, but I don't know my starting weight or what I am now. I just know that I lost some. [this is an eventful update, isn't it?]

UH, I've gotten more ideas for my stories, but Snow on Mercury in particular. [the one with Kaine. :<]
OH, I GOT PERSONA 4 THE OTHER DAY AND IT'S AWESOME. IF I WASN'T ASEXUAL I'D OFFER MY POTENTIAL CHILDREN TO THE PROTAGONIST. lol. Maybe not to that extent, but it's still a fun game.

I'm pretty content with life in general, 'cept for my dog now being dead. :<
Yeah, Rosko, at the prime age of 4, was euthanized last Thursday at 3:25pm. That dork shouldn't have bit people. [of course, now I'm unbelievably lonely on weekends when everyone's working, waking up and no one being home but the cat.]

really tired because I just took the medication and my jaw's a little sore. But other than that, I'm feeling better than I have all week.

I dunno if it counts as a dream, 'cause I was more or less hallucinating at the time. Um, I woke up two nights ago in pain from my mouth and I was looking for my medication bottle while still half asleep I guess. And there was another me telling me why I should/shouldn't take the medication. They/I couldn't make up my mind so they/I kept rambling about the medication and how it'd make it all go away. So I took a pill with a few swigs of water and went back to sleep.

UH. kinda, not really. I was just at school and I talked to someone I havent talked to in a while.

I'm doing a 5 piece project based off of 1950's commercial art in my 4th block so I'm REALLY psyched now. lol.
